The Story
The Goliath Split Keel is an extra large fin set, designed to provide hold and drive in weak conditions. The Goliath split keel has 12% more surface area then fin sets with a similar template and will suit a heavier rider. They have also been used by surfers of average size to provide additional 'squirt' in weak conditions.
Designed in collaboration with the guys at 'Release Surfboards' the fins have a slightly more raked front and an upright rear which clusters the points of lift together, essentially making the system feel loose, while providing the drive required in smaller waves. The fins have an overall upright pivot template, allowing for a tight turning radius.
